Resolution

The Tuxera NTFS for Mac update is available, follow the instructions below to update the Tuxera software.

Procedure

This update is only applicable to the following products, it cannot be installed on other products:

  • Canvio Connect and Connect II (HDTC6, HDTC7 and HDTC8 series)
  • Canvio Slim and Slim II (HDTD1 and HDTD2 series)
  • Canvio AeroMobile (HDTQ112XCWF1)
  • Canvio AeroCast (HDTU110XKWC1)
  • Canvio Premium (HDTW1 series – PC model)
  • Canvio for Desktop (HDWC3 series)

Download the (Toshiba 2016.1) Tuxera NTFS software from the following link:

This new driver adds an automatic update feature to the Tuxera NTFS software. So, once this new driver is installed, the customer can update future drivers automatically within the Tuxera software.

  1. Launch Tuxera NTFS from System Preferences
  2. If an update is available, a dialog box will be displayed stating a new version of the Tuxera NTFS for Mac is available.
  3. Click on the Updates tab to see the current and latest version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac.
  4. Click on the 'Update Tuxera NTFS for Mac' button. The update will begin.
  5. Once the update is completed, the Preference pane will be restarted.
